FAMILIES IN CRISIS: MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS AT WAR
A mother's love knows no bounds, but what happens when that bond between mother and daughter is stretched too thin? On today's show, we'll meet mothers and daughters whose relationships have broken down causing a bitter war between the two. Actress, author and advocate Robin Givens is here to offer guidance and counseling stemming from her own unique experience. Susan says her 14-year-old daughter Jessica was a model student until she started spiraling out of control, running away from home and becoming active in gangs. Corrie is a mother to 5 children but one of her daughters, Breauna, has been hanging out with the wrong crowd and doing drugs. With the help of clinical psychologist, Dr. Maryann Rosenthal, can these mothers learn to become parents and not pushovers and repair their broken mother-daughter bonds?
