EXPLOSIVE CONTROVERSIES: YOU DECIDE!

America is in the midst of several hot political debates, but how much time do we spend thinking about the people being affected personally by the issues? This year’s presidential election has already become one of the hottest topics in our media, causing heated disputes all over the country around controversial subjects like the war and immigration. On today’s show, we’re going to go behind the headlines, speaking to guests and experts to get to the root of these topics. Liberal pundit and radio host Rob Nelson is back on the show with his conservative counterpart, Fox News contributor, Leslie Sanchez. They will both give individual analyses of today’s political arguments and offer both sides of the issues. Former NJ Governor Christie Todd Whitman is also with us to talk about the upcoming elections from an insider’s point of view. We’ll also meet with Sgt Susan Sonnhiem, one of the first women in the Wisconsin National Guard to be awarded a purple heart and now suffers every day as a repercussion of the injuries she incurred in Iraq. We’ll also meet Josh, who claims his brother was suffering from post traumatic stress disorder from serving in Iraq when he murdered his wife. On the topic of immigration, we will hear first-hand accounts from one of the “minute men” who were charged with guarding our borders, as well as actor Esai Morales from “NYPD Blue”— the son of immigrant parents— and Miriam, an immigrant from England who is having trouble getting legalized citizenship status.
