PROJECT ROBIN: HOW TO BE A SUPERMOM
In our society today, women are often told that they can have it all, but just how easy is it to be a "supermom" and still have your own life, too? On today's how, we’ll address the concerns many women share upon entering motherhood with actress Robin Givens, who writes about her own parenting ups and downs in her upcoming book “Project Robin.” We’ll also hear from Stacy, who, after having her second child, reached a crossroads between the career she loved and giving her boys the care and attention she thought they deserved. We'll also hear from Stacy's husband, Joe, and learn how her decision to stay at home impacts him as he saddled with the burden of being the sole breadwinner for their household. Also joining us is Faith, a single mother raising three teenagers while focusing on her career and education. We’ll also get a sneak peak inside TLC's new series, "The Secret Life of A Soccer Mom" — a one-hour long reality series that shows ordinary stay-at-home mothers what their lives could have been if they had opted to continue pursuing their careers. We'll meet one of the show's moms, Evette, who left her job to raise her daughter and autistic son. See what happens when she secretly returns to the career she left behind and her husband, Michael, is left to cater to their son's special needs.
