LIVING WELL: MOVING MOUNTAINS

Montel's mantra, "Mountain, Get Out of My Way," will always be the core of what drives him through life. Today, we’ll feature inspirational stories of personal growth that can show that you too can move your own mountains if you put your mind to it. Miss Jones is a popular radio show host and in her new book, she discusses her volatile upbringing, being bullied in school and having to pave her own way to success. Steve was deployed in the military and had to leave his new family behind. When he returned, his son didn’t recognize him, breaking his heart. Remembering his own past and his relationship with his mother, he decided to create a "Myhuggy" Teddy Bear for military families so they can record a message from a deployed parent to help fill the void while they're away. Karen’s son, Jacob, wandered off on a hiking trip. For days, the family searched for him. Jacob was finally found and the experience changed the family forever. Ron's life was changed when his son was killed in a car accident. Instead of letting the experience throw him into despair, he started a spiritual journey to empower others that have experienced similar tragedies.
