SAVING KARLI: HER STORY CONTINUES
Everyday parents struggle with children whose behavior is tearing their family apart. Today, we'll revisit with Kelly, a mom who we met 2 years ago when her daughter, Karli, began behaving erratically. She was calling out for help and wanted Montel to show her mother the root of the problem before it was too late. Karli had been fueling her drug habit by prostituting herself to older men. Karli agreed to go to treatment but has she been set on the right path since? Clinical Social Worker, Camille Heiner, has been working with Karli since we met her in 2007. A year later, has Karli been saved?
Today's Guests
Kelly: She is the mother of self-destructive teen, Karli
Karli : She is a teen who has been in drug treatment since we first met her last year
Camille Heiner: She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) at the Heritage School in Provo, Utah and has been working with Karli
