17 YEARS: FEMALE FELONS SPEAK OUT
Over the past 17 years, Montel has had the opportunity to go behind prison walls and speak to some of the most intriguing women felons and gaining unique insight into their crimes. Today, we’re looking back at some of the most notorious female felons who have been featured on our show. Long before Charlize Theron played her on the big screen, Montel spoke to one of the most famous female killers, Aileen Wuornos. Christina Marie Riggs was convicted of murdering her 2 pre-school aged children by smothering them. Stacey Lannert was convicted of murdering her father after he sexually abused her. Linda Smith was convicted of "failure to protect" when her boyfriend killed her young daughter. Elizabeth pleaded no contest to killing her 1-year-old baby when she placed him in the microwave. She had no recollection of her actions due to what was potentially a seizure. Find out the updates on these cases and more on today's Montel!
